Executive Director
Carmen Filbeck
Carmen Filbeck is the Executive Director of the Lanna Theological Center. She grew up in Chiang Mai, Thailand. An experienced educator, Carmen has served as Director since 2011.
Academic Team
Mr. Wanchai Rattanakongkachai
Mr. Wanchai is a graduate of LTC. Following graduation he worked two years with Mike Flinchum as a dorm supervisor for orphans and at risk children. At that point LTC invited him to join the staff as an associate professor and men’s dorm supervisor. After a few years, LTC leadership appointed him as Academic Dean. He married his wife, Jann, in 2019 and together they serve as supervisors for the Women’s Dorm.
Mr Surachai (Bus) Jaffu
Mr Surachai, or :”Bus” as he is known, is a graduate of LTC. Following graduate, he joined Wanchai in working with the orphanage. LTC invited him to join the staff as an associate professor. “Bus” has a kind gentle spirit and a great sense of humor. He is very personable and enjoys being with the students. LTC appointed him as Dean of Students in 2019. He married his wife, Sara, in 2018 and they serve as the Men’s dorm supervisors.
Mr Supanai
Mr Supahani or Teacher Phan as he is called came to LTC in 2016. His wife is a graduate of LTC. LTC appointed him to lead the committee for Public Relationships. His job includes coordinating graduation, homecoming, church relations and alumni relationships. His committee also oversees student’s practicum experiences and outreach teams.
